Since it’s from Fromsoft, I expect its lore to be on par with Dark Souls or Kings Field in amount of hidden threads connecting things.

So, was handler Walter a pilot during the fires of Ibis? What’s the deal with him and Carla, and their dead friend? Is his dad Dr. Nagai? So many questions!! :)
What is the deal with Carla?! Is she single? Why won’t she calm me back? Anyways Walter definitely strikes me as the kinda guy who’s seen some shit so I’d believe he was alive during the fires of Ibis. Hopefully AC 6 ANSWERS handles all these questions

Always thought Armored Core looked cool. Never really got into it.
The newest installment is a good jumping off point. It takes place early in the AC timeline and is quite a bit simpler than earlier entries.
