      This isn’t just a privacy issue, the CVEs noted there is a way to remotely execute code. So maybe you’re in the hospital, the government sees your name and vitals through their backdoor, search and find on social media that you’ve been saying some things they don’t like, then remotely crash or disable your heart monitor when your vitals start looking funny and the medical staff at the hospital aren’t notified…

            I suppose if you’re using them that often they could do that, but they’d probably just deny your benefits even without the extra data.

                There’s bigger problems than medical monitors collecting data. Like fascism. And I’d rather have the spying monitor than no monitor at all.

                    People focusing on things like this instead of the government. If you want secure monitors the focus should be on laws that protect privacy, not just calling out companies that violate privacy.
