          Okay, but the person says it depends if they’re presented as real or just funny jokes. This is an image with no source on c/LemmyShitpost. Why would anyone even begin to assume it was real?

            Yeah okay, but I didn’t see that it was in a shit posting community because I was scrolling through ALL, and others seemingly didn’t either.

              I’m not sure why that is anyone’s fault but yours. There is no way to force you to pay attention to the fact that you’re in a shitpost community.
