They are given to vulnerable people when there is an outbreak. That said this may be a strain that is drug resistant, which would explain the severity of the outbreak.
minus-square@ByteJunklink4•5 days agoThe BCG vaccine is still part of many national vaccination plans in Europe to this day. This is not the case in the US, at least I believe that since levels were lower they never started it.
