First to reduce the risks of bribery in theory. Secondly It isn’t that much when you start looking at the expenses they have to have. Keeping an apartment and office in your home district and a home in DC is expensive. They are at minimum paying rent on three places. It is why most are wealthy before they ran. That is intentional.

I’m not saying she should have less. I’m saying she isnt aware of her privilege if she doesn’t realize most people have wayy less than this. And that that makes her rich.
