Summary

Democrats Stansbury and Raskin introduced the “Nobody Elected Elon Musk Act,” which targets Elon Musk’s dismantling of federal services through the DOGE cost-cutting scheme.

It seeks personal liability for Musk, amid lawsuits and concerns over sensitive data access.

The proposal aims to protect taxpayers and critical federal operations against unauthorized actions.

You can’t pardon away a law. They’re seeking liability not criminal punishment and conviction.

It’s not really intended to cause Musk harm, but to force Republicans to explicitly vote for musks continued assholery

but to force Republicans to explicitly vote for musks continued assholery

You say that as though it’ll cause even a second of hesitation from those shitstains to enthusiastically vote for musk’s continued assholery…

And? So what? It’s important to make them vote because the alternative is letting them get away without stating their position. Then when the elections roll around they just claim they never supported the unpopular shit they did. Don’t let them memory hole their abuses in real time.

Having a paper trail that they did so will be important if we ever regain control of our country. I want every receipt of every action to be a matter of national history data.
