its part of the problem. general populace still isnt impacted and people still think they can wait it out. it literally took a pandemic for people to sit up and give a shit last time and half of them were pissed because they had to wear a mask.
look at how our representatives are acting. zero shits given. no organizing on their part etc. I went to the protests the other week, it was the standard group of people who show up at every protest, the old women from the suffrage movement and LGBT+ align individuals. very small groups.
its unfortunate it but here we are. I’m just going to continue doing my shit trying to get my old antifa group back up and running, but it’ll take a bit since we literally have to connect without digital comms initially and re-establish everything we shut down.
