Summary

Donald Trump has amended his lawsuit against CBS, doubling the damages sought to $20 billion.

He also added Texas Congressman Ronny Jackson, his former White House doctor, as a co-plaintiff to keep the suit before a Trump-appointed judge in Texas.

He claims CBS deceptively edited Kamala Harris’ “60 Minutes” interview to make her appear more coherent, allegedly influencing the 2024 election and harming his Truth Social platform.

Filed in Texas, the suit alleges violations of the Lanham Act and Texas consumer protection laws.

CBS argues that the Lanham Act and Texas statute only govern commercial speech, not political or editorial speech, and has moved to dismiss the lawsuit.

The election already cooked her . Now the DNC leadership, who you’ve added to the conversation, they’re active so yeah kick on them all you want and all you can. But she ain’t even leadership. She done
