Don’t stress about switching to Linux. If your motherboard has a spare SATA port, grab yourself an SSD and start using Linux for simple stuff like general browsing. It takes off quickly from there.

What is the extra SATA SSD for? I have a spare nvme slot, but already have 2x 1TB nvme SSD’s. But a multiboot also works with 1 SSD, just make multiple partitions. Or am I missing something?

I’m trying to say that instead of partitioning a drive you’re already using for Windows stuff, just grab another SATA SSD and install Linux on it. Dual-booting with Windows can be a pain. In my experience its just better to have a dedicated drive for it.
