Kennedy Jr. to run the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), installing an anti-vaccine activist and conspiracy theorist to head a $1.8 trillion agency that oversees the nation’s largest health programs. Kennedy will also be able to shape federal abortion policy and has expressed openness to national restrictions.
