He’s sad because he was going to call in sick but waited too long.

Yes! Of course. I now have a whole music video of someone hideously hungover, driving to work singing this… Kind of like the “everybody hurts” video but like crazy shit is happening.

So you’re picturing me every morning back when I had to drive in to work. Got it.

Ah, so you are a Bexar drunk? I’m further down i10 myself, not sure I could go through that interchange every day.

Edit: I am being too literal again, I think.

I do know her well! Hi neighbor! I hope you don’t have to suffer the i10 610 interchange daily!

                Howdy neighbor!

Naw, I work remote, the HEB is walking distance, and if I’m on the motorcycle I’m headed the other way out of town. The only time I have to deal with it is when I’m playing a gig headed into town while everyone else is driving the other way.

Nice! I’m lucky to have a short commute as well: grew up spending 45 min on i10 into the sun each way going to school. Never again! City driving is awful. I miss going to Austin often. Love the back roads between here and there. Especially fun on a bike. What kind of music do you play?

Sorry, I was drunk as hell up on 1960 and forgot we were having a conversation.
