So maybe to prevent people from cutting across the sidewalk from the bike path? No idea. Edit: A bike parking is just visible at the top of the picture, so Netherlands intensifies.

minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink3•21 hours agoThe sidewalk more on the left doesn’t have the holes. So I think bikes were taking shortcuts across the sidewalk and this was the councils way of fixing that. People can walk on the left without bikes going on the sidewalk.
