    Explaining to them hasn’t been productive in my experience.

    I just block the people that make these unintentional posts, because they’re never gonna stop using hashtags

      What’s there to explain? If I understand correctly, hashtags are fine on Mastodon, where this post is coming from.

      The problem is either Mastodon or Lemmy that allows this post to be made based on the hashtag. But that’s not the user’s fault.
