To be fair, you’re commenting all over this thread.

Well I only license label my content when it’s actually content from me, and not me simply replying to a question with an answer. At least that’s my general rule that I try to use.

But honestly, I tend to think you’re more backtracking than being honest about your reasons why you made your initial comment to me, considering you made it at the same time I’m having a heated discussion with others about my use of a license on another post. If I’m wrong in that, you have my apologies.

But it did seem a little creepy for you to make that comment, considering it has nothing to do with the subject being discussed. I mean, you could always just let it go, and not comment on it in the first place. /shrug

Well, what in this comment do you consider content? I don’t understand why the comment you’ve made here is more “content” than answering a question.

Check my history and you’ll see I’m also engaging with, and actually being WAYYYYY meaner to, the guy that was being a dick to you. Kinda embarrassed him tbh.

I don’t see why you would think it’s creepy. It’s not like I’m personally interested in you or your life. I just wondered why you seemed to be inconsistent about it.

Well, what in this comment do you consider content?

I consider most of what I type as content that I create. But if its a very simple phrase, like “thank you”, something like that, I won’t bother with the link, because I also declare everything that I post/command is covered by the same license in my user account information.

And I do appreciate the defence, truly. I just wish I didn’t have to talk/type so much about the license/link, vs being able to talk about the subjects that I am commenting in/on instead. Its why I keep referring people to my comment history, if they are being intellectually honest and have an honest curiosity as to why I do it, so that I can talk about the subject at hand instead of CC licenses usage.
