I am just doubting that this made it through advertising standards and actually got posted. This would be controlled by TFL, so I would imagine they would also be previewing ads abot to be run.

If this is actually in that spot it is because someone put it in there , not by contacting the company that controls these eyesores but by being malicious in a good way.
Correct. Thing they’re like triangle shape keys some of them. There was a website, which I forget the name of, that would show tips for doing stuff like this and where to get the keys from etc.
If you look at the bus stop on [street view](336 Bethnal Grn Rd https://maps.app.goo.gl/UTVcRVCkPp8zSPpe9?g_st=ac) you can see the same uneven red border, it’s definitely a real place
