ICC says states cannot determine ‘soundness’ of its decisions as Israeli PM faces warrant on Gaza war crime allegations.
Not a good start for the new German gov.
On the other hand I see their point, Germany arresting Israelis would be a low hanging fruit for the Israeli propaganda machine.
“We can’t prosecute genocide because the genociders will talk trash.”
Too many people put too much weight if martyrdom. Personally, I think their propaganda machine is already powerful enough that it can’t truely get get much of a boost. Arresting Ben for his crimes would be far more good than the negatives that come from people being upset about it. Pick the low hanging fruit while the picking is good I say.
