Europe shouldn’t be the leader of the free world. Europe should be the leader of Europe. Or better, without any euphemism the EU should be the leader of the EU
Any suggestions for replacement then? The US has certainly abdicated their position.
How about no replacement? I don’t see many countries I want to model mine after.
It’s only the leader of the free world because we look to it for guidance and support. That was the image the US seemed to foster, mercenary truth notwithstanding.
It’s just someone else, now.
