Reminds me of when someone asked me why hydrogen cars weren’t more popular and I brought up the invisible fire. In this case you can see the flames, though it wasn’t much better. At least in a fire like this they’re most likely to pass out from smoke inhalation, especially being inside the car. Hopefully the fire didn’t make them suffer too badly. Yes, they were drunk, high, and driving, but this could have been way worse if they hit another car.

As gruesome as it may be, I would be shocked if bodies were recovered in even a moderately recognizable condition, or if they dont blow away in the wind during recovery. Heat is really bad for keeping a human body in one piece. It is insane that a bystander was able to rescue even one from that.
