In a 17-minute video, Cuomo pitched himself as an accomplished moderate who can save a city he described as threatening and “out of control,” and is capable of navigating the delicate balance between working with Republican President Donald Trump and fighting him, when necessary.

“I am not saying this is going to be easy. It won’t be easy, but I know we can turn the city around, and I believe I can help,” he said.

The Democrat is expected to mount a formidable campaign, despite entering the race deeply wounded by the scandal that forced his resignation as governor in 2021.

Can we all get behind a progressive challenger to him and Adam’s right now? Like, maybe AOC wants to run since the house isn’t treating her right?

Brad Lander is the only logical choice at the moment.

        I would prefer Jumaane Williams.

Unfortunately Williams is running for reelection as Public Advocate but he would be my choice. If Adams ever resigned or got removed somehow, Williams would 100% be on the ballot and would probably win that primary easily.

Man, I was hoping so hard that Juumane would get the governorship in 2022. I really don’t think WFP should endorsed her or any “moderate” dem. That race against fucking Zeldin was too close for comfort.
