The dude who wrote it from the village people is on the maga money train. I don’t blame him for selling his principles for money, that’s most jobs. What I do blame him for is saying that there’s nothing gay about the song and anyone who thinks it’s about being gay is reading into it too much.
I do blame him. Hes selling the memories of the others who have died since the song was written. Maybe if he was a solo act it would be more forgivable but he wasn’t he was in a group full of gay men some of whom died from the AIDS crisis.
