Luckily there’s been a huge change with DNC leadership, and the new guy gave the people what they needed to turn out to the polls when he was running the Minnesota party.
But we can’t ignore the very shitty plans that allowed trump to win twice, otherwise in a decade or two the rich will buy off the Dems again and we’ll just repeat.
Just like the fight against fascism is constant and never ending, so is the fight against neoliberalism. They’re two sides of the same coin and either one can only win their the only two options.
Splitting the difference between what Dem voters want and what R voters want just pisses both groups off.
A candidate like 08 Obama who’s (relatively) young, charismatic, and has a progressive platform would perform, well…
