minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish88•1 day agoThiel, Elon & Co. sold PayPal almost two decades ago. That’s from where they got the money for SpaceX (Thiel is an early investor in SpaceX too).
minus-square@errerlinkEnglish11•23 hours agoA lot of what is in the list is irrelevant because the companies do not exist anymore. SolarCity is just Tesla now (I have a solarcity system that is now managed…badly…by Tesla)
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish14•1 day agoAs far as I can tell it’s correct. It just failed to disclose the sale of PayPal.
minus-squareDiplomjodlerlink3•21 hours agoIt’s not inaccurate. It just says Musk is a co-founder of Paypal, nothing about the current ownership. Would have been better to mention that, though.

minus-square@multicolorKnightOPlinkEnglish7•1 day agoSure enough. Thanks, the source is reputable enough, but I should have checked it anyway.
minus-square@essteeyoulink10•24 hours agoIs it reputable if the information it gives is 23 years out of date?
minus-square@supernight52link2•21 hours agoIf the events happened at that time, why would it matter? The fact that they sold off 2 decades ago isn’t changing.
minus-squareoce 🐆linkfedilink14•1 day agoIt was sold to Ebay in 2002. You can see it on their official website. https://about.pypl.com/who-we-are/history-and-facts/default.aspx

Curious about other inaccuracies in that list.
