minus-square@TwanHElink1•10 hours agoMany motherboard pump headers will still provide power while in sleep. But you usually start hearing the pump more when it’s older and the bearing starts to wear, or due to permeation lowering the water levels.
I used to have a watercooled PC, I don’t remember it making any sounds while in sleep. Why would the pump run when PC is asleep?
