They need to kill it again for a while. The last two doctors were poor and the writing even worse.

I think Jodie Whittaker is amazing. Either the writing started going downhill with Peter Capaldi or I outgrew it. I haven’t even bothered watching Ncuti Gatwa yet because I want to get all caught up and just can’t be bothered yet.

I think Jodie Whittaker is amazing.

Personally I think she could have been amazing, but unfortunately wasn’t, but still good.

It almost felt like she was being directed so much, based on all the controversies going on and everything, that she didn’t get to do her own version of the Doctor really, she was very constrained and “boxed in”, if you know what I mean? She never got a chance to grow into the role, the way she could have.

And IMO the writing was mostly bad, which didn’t help her out any.

Oh, I wasn’t clear. I meant SHE is amazing. The writing wasn’t for me.

She was a perfect female version of David Tennant’s Doctor. The writing was just bad. She was spot on.
