Maybe something like upgrading user’s skills when they get exponentially more reputation: no-voting-rights -> upvote -> upvote/downvote -> 2 dimensions -> 3 dimensions -> etc. Which will go from 100 rep -> 1000 -> 10k -> etc.

Yeah, but it can’t be too complicated at the very start.

yeah we need an entire Skyrim skill tree for this
