    I never said that. You interpreted it. What I said was that I suspect foul play. That could be for any reasons, the most obvious being this guy was a liability to someone important, whether deliberately (he’s a spy) or accidentally (he saw something he shouldn’t have).

      These rich and powerful fucks do all sorts of evil shit right in the open, for all of us to see. They don’t need to be killing chefs to keep things quiet. They go on national tv and brag about their fucked up “accomplishments”.

      Occam’s razor says the dude was either drunk or a bad swimmer or both.

        Occam’s Razor is lazy. The simple explanation is that he had a standard paddle boarding accident. The incident rate for those accidents is significantly low. This complicates the use of Occam’s Razor. The person was well connected, in a very well connected space. They had access to better equipment, better waters, more safety equipment, better emergency services, etc, etc, etc. This complicates Occam’s Razor. The person was very close to powerful people in a long and continuous history of murders of convenience. This complicates Occam’s Razor.
