    Lots of “unwritten rules” that most presidents have followed historically. Just takes one person who doesn’t give a fuck about the rules to break the whole system wide open.

      Normally in a democracy you’d expect the voters to keep the politicians from violating those unwritten rules, but Americans gonna American.

        dictators are distressingly popular. nobody likes checks and balances when they’re holding your guy back from giving the bad guys a well-deserved beating.
