    Why the fuck is he still employed in government? Why does the president not have the power to remove him in an instant

      I don’t think the president has the ability to fire the postmaster general.

        Not directly but he does have the power to appoint the board of directors who have the power to remove the postmaster general. Or at least that’s my understanding of how it works.

        And why is that? He can fire any other General. Attorney General, Surgeon General, etc

        I mean trump did appoint dejoy to that position so Biden should be able remove him.

          Trump didn’t appoint DeJoy, but he did appoint the entire board of governors who appointed DeJoy. The board was technically bipartisan, as well.

          Something else to note, there were independent bodies tasked with coming up with a list of names for the appointment of Postmaster General. DeJoy wasn’t on any of them.
