But Nissan and Honda had a backup plan and has executed it. Honda teamed up with GM and Nissan cranked out an EV crossover.
Nissan is another surprising one. They had a huge lead with the Leaf and then did nothing with it. Hopefully all the Japanese mfrs can get on board sooner rather than later.
