@Raz5 Yep! I’m not a lawyer, but IIUC, Stable Diffusion explicitly allows commercial use of generated images, so you should be able to use outputs of the text-to-image-plugin commercially. Just added a note about this to the image save popup - been meaning to do this for a while.
It seems to mention the distribution of the actual programs as far as i can tell , i am not wanting to distribute the program , just some images generated with it.
The Output You Generate. Except as set forth herein, Licensor claims no rights in the Output You generate using the Model. You are accountable for the Output you generate and its subsequent uses. No use of the output can contravene any provision as stated in the License.
You are accountable for the Output you generate and its subsequent uses
I think that means that you are allowed to use it in any way you want like for commercial purposes, but it is tied to you, and it is your responsibility (if anyone will be taking legal action due to the image you used outputted by the model, it will be against you and not the makers of the model).
For example, if you get a copyright on the image that you generated using the model (the Output), you are responsible for it, and it is tied to you and not the makers of the model/host of the model you used.
At least that’s what I understood about that statement.
I guess so since the licensor grants the license and claims no rights in the output generated , not sure what it means though that , " you are accountable for the output you generate and its subsequent uses" . Perhaps that one would not use it in a harmful way or ways that might misuse the conditions they mention. like for crime , or discrimination or so. Otherwise it sounds like you could use the whole program commercially if you wanted , even if modified.
Based on the Stable Diffusion Licensing (which was the model Perchance uses) I think you can. @[email protected] pinging dev for clarification.
Thanks for help, this would be good to know. So far i couldn’t find any other specific info on it.

Yeah, I saw that, most of the licenses/terms are for the ‘software’ and not the images generated.
Found this at the Stable Diffusion v2’s License at the SECTION III.
So what is the above saying? In laymen’s terms? It is ok to use commercially? thanks
