Yeah same here. On the plus side my city has been actively working on dedicated bike paths for a while now. The only problem is that they tend to be more “Relaxing riding” rather than commuting riding because of how spread out everything is.
Bummer. There’s plenty of shops and restaurants and other services around me but a five lane stroad and a steep-ish hill in both directions is very intimidating.
