I agree about the all natural repelants. Deet is the only product that’s been proven to be effective but even that is far from 100%. Not that I’m advising against using repellent but I don’t think you can count on it.
For ticks you’re better protected wearing long pants, sleeves and a hat when moving through wooded areas, brush, or tall grass but good luck convincing people to do that.

Isn’t picaridin also shown to be effective? Or is that only against mosquitos and not ticks?
This is the first time I’ve ever heard of it to be honest but it sounds awesome. I’ll definitely be trying it out.
