Cowboy Bebop would have been a hit if they filmed the seasons back to back.
We need to go back to multi year contracts for shows like this. These days shows get popular a decade after airing on streaming. Long term it’s a no brainer to crank out at least 3 seasons off anything you greenlight, it’s cheaper than three independent seasons productions wise, and you look people in to initial contracts too.
Literally the only reason we stopped doing it is our current economic systems incentives short term profit over literally everything else.
