Trying to figure out what this yellow double cutaway was over Alex Lifeson’s right shoulder when he appeared on the Shred with Shifty podcast (which is awesome, by the way).

Maybe some kind of Gibson based on the fretboard inlays?

Yeah, that’s gotta be it. The knobs match perfectly. There goes my Revstar theory!

I don’t feel too bad though, they have very similar bodies and pickguards.

Agreed but the Revstar was super close, too!

… and also, I’ve got some cool new guitars to keep an eye out for.

You won’t regret adding a Reverend to your lineup. They are really well built guitars intended for working musicians. I’ve had a double agent OG for 4 or 5 years and I love it.

That’s awesome, I can’t wait to try one.

If you like the DC LP shape, a few more would be the various PRS models and on the cheaper front, Samick Ultramatic.

Harley Benton (thomann.de) has double cut junior (only, sadly) and PRS shaped models as well.

Yeah, I was thinking of the PRS and the Gretsch Duo Jet.

I have this one, which is similar in shape.

              Thanks! It’s a D’Angelico Brighton Deluxe.

I’ve got the same one! How do you like it? Unfortunately mine doesn’t get much play because it’s so freaking neck heavy. Love the Duncan pickups in it though.

I love it. I sit and play, mostly, so it’s balanced great for that and is so versatile across a number of music and playing styles.
