The city would start leasing the complex through its Department of Housing Stability (HOST) on Sept. 1.

This is a very typical shit ass response. We’ve had great success in having permanent and semi permanent living spaces in existing neighborhoods. Even the NIMBY assholes like yourself who initially sued to prevent it have changed their tune. There also has been no increase in crime with these either.

Maybe take a minute and consider what you would want if you were homeless. In the US you are much closer to being homeless than you think.

I live next to section 8 housing, it sucks. So you think and I know.

      I won’t do this again…

I literally lived two block away from one of the Denver safe outdoor spaces. So you have no idea at all, and I actually know. You’re not from here, you have no experience with the homeless situation in Denver or the many things we are trying as a community to fix it. You are just talking out of your ass.

I’m sorry you’re blighted by those with less than you, seems to be a big issue for you. If only we could lock all the poors away to make you feel better.

Two blocks away, oh poor you. I deal w/ the mentally ill on my door step daily. But youre the savior of the destitute. I buy something and an outside factor makes that property thats now pretty much un-sellable. I’m working to buy that section 8 building and make it condos. I get the value of my property back and punt the knobs into the county.

Win/win for me and no shitbirds.

Gotta love the libertarian solution; instead of working to make society to be better for everyone, they’d rather stomp others down to be king of the shitpile.

Oh, poor you. Your property values declined? Sounds so much worse than not having a home. Let me work up some tears for this travesty.

I’m sure you’ll buy those condos eventually LMAO!
