I think I’m looking for something that does not exist

I am looking for a cheap rack multiple chassis / enclosure that I can stick individual hard drives in and then plug them into my servers through USB or SATA. So DAS storage.

I can’t find anything on the web that exists. Even anything from Etsy that’s custom made. It’s all $200 or more and includes some sort of controller. I just want something I can put my drives in and then plug in.

Does it exist?
