    Not only ads but tracking and spyware too. I got asked to consent for a shit ton of thrid party cookies seconds after i opened it for the frist time …

          How a about no spyware third party trackers? I didn’t protest against Reddit to lose my privacy to Sync.

            It’s his app! We can make suggestions, but it’s his own choice whether to add ads.

      It’s proprietary software; what did you expect? That shit will always betray you sooner or later, almost by definition.

      I would have liked to think folks on-the-ball enough to ditch Reddit for Lemmy would know better, but nope!
