transcription: why are men so afraid of being falsely accused? just stay inside, dont put yourself in situations like this, dont go out alone especially at night, dont drink, dress modestly so women dont mistake you for predators, always be polite so you dont “provoke” women

I’ve been falsely accused as well before. In college i rejected an attractive woman and later she went around claiming I assaulted her to cope with the rejection. I got harassed and threatened because of it. She did it to multiple other men and the gig was up later though. Some decent folks actually apologized to me, but most didn’t. Most believed her and some refused to acknowledge her lies even after her pattern got her caught.

The scariest part is still that if you talk about this… most people still blame me. I must have done something to her, because in their minds all women are perfectly innocent people and would never do anything like that. They literally do not believe women can be bad people and/or mitigate the violence and harm they do as being ‘less than’ that of a man who does the same crime.

You are not alone. And do not let people silence or intimidate you for sharing your experiences.
