Are people really surprised by this? Trump was indicted for January 6th just before an election year. I don’t condone violence, but it is prone to happen a lot between now and November 2024. Depending on the outcome, there’ll probably be a lot of violence immediately after November 2024 as well…
Not to mention they’ve probably heard or even realized that if they were armed or even just willing to swarm when shot at, they could have succeeded and might have plans for things to go differently next time.
Though idk if they believe the coup would have been the end of it or if they realize it would have likely lead to civil war.
