I think that whenever buying ceramics online you definitely need to see images of the exact piece you’ll get
It’s a shame really as raku can produce some amazing results, I’ve got 2 pieces by Chris Hawkins which have a much richer finish, and a more diverse mix of colours than the one the reviewer received, personally I’d have sent it back for a refund
Yeah I love the technique and would gladly have one myself (if I thought international shipping could handle such a thing) but the pics were definitely not the greatest representation of the final product, even if it were one of the better pieces.
