All generators are relatively the same on the /generator page so it is quite bland.
So I propose an idea that generators use $meta on the /generator page so people can use custom thumbnails to direct viewers.
Many other digital platforms like Roblox, Steam, and Scratch use custom thumbnails so it might be a good addition for Perchance too.
Hmm yeah I have thought about this before - it’s actually just a single-line change in the /generators page to enable it. I was a little worried that trolls would abuse it by putting nsfw pics there - not that they couldn’t do that anyway with the screenshot - just that it might make it easier for them. The other thing is, I’d still want the ability to see the screenshot. Could maybe display meta image by default, and then when you hover it shows the screenshot? For now I’ve added a little “image” emoji at the end of the displayed meta description that you can hover over to see the meta image. If you have thoughts here, let me know. I guess it’s pretty easy to try things out and change it to something different if e.g. trolls abuse it.
