I could care less about new ev prices. I’m watching the used EV market for a cheap older EV with limited range to putt around town. I don’t need it to go 500 miles. Even 100 is enough for my day to day needs.
I can already buy a cheap BMW i3 for under $15k. But damn they are ugly as sin. I also don’t want a Tesla. So my options for a used EV are pretty slim right now.
Still, in a few years there will be a ton of cheap EV’s with limited range
With Chademo clearly a dead connector, a leaf may be a good bet. As long as the home charger is ok, it seems like a great grocery car. Tho, should be mentioned that a bakfiets would also be a good idea of there’s bike lanes between your house and the grocery store.
Lots of electric vehicles introduced this year with very aspirational prices and range. Cool if true, but I’m skeptical. We will see.
