I wanted to go over a few points related to pricing, stats and the roadmap

Pricing

  1. Sync for Lemmy is completely free with ads (the same as Sync for Reddit)

  2. You can remove ads in the account picker or drawer for a one time fee of ~$20

  3. Sync Ultra also removes ads but it’s not required

  4. I’ll be working on regional prices over the coming weeks

There are now 24k installed users up from 100 the previous day!

I’m going to be spending the next few days going through all of the comments / messages and fixing any crashes.

    I’m an Sync Ultra user from Reddit and bought Sync Ultra again yesterday. No regrets.

    I don’t mind spending a few dollars on a program that I spend as much time with as I do Sync. I’ve never understood the psychology of people who believe anything more than a dollar for a phone app is too much.

      A few dollars… :) Sync Ultra costs more than 120 dollars I believe.

      But that’s lifetime sure. It’s not too bad price per monthly, but I hate subscriptions so much.

        For the record, Sync Ultra is $99.99 and gives you a lot of features beyond being ad-free.

      You might be wealthy, then. I can’t afford that kind of money during a massive cost of living crisis, particularly after buying Sync Ultra and getting less than a year out of it.
