Can we have ethical neural networks? The tech is there, just train without stolen data, get licensing rights for training data.

As a car enrhusiast, please give me an LLM trained exclusively on Subaru technical manuals, service bulletins and maybe one or two of the more reputable and grown up forums that still exist.

I’ve liked that idea for VA in games.

      - Get some random persons voice that fits the role, pay them properly for a few days work training the NN with conversations geared for output.

      - Pay a real VA to do the actual performative work, they don’t need to put on a voice.

Input the latter into the former, get Jennifer Hale/Troy Baker level VA without it sounding like Jennifer Hale/Troy Baker but while probably paying Jennifer Hale/Troy Baker. 10/10.

Additionally, users/modders could input their own voice work (or just text I guess) so that user mods could be properly voiced, without the risk of making Jennifer Hale say something she wouldn’t want to, since it wouldn’t be her voice, but someone elses.
