They’re like Sennheiser or Audio Technica: nowhere near the kind of “money pumped into advertising” as Beats (the US), but word-of-mouth does a shitton of legwork.
The US being like Beats: generally decent overall, too expensive for what you get, too heavily invested in specific areas, marketed to be the best (despite a number of flaws that make it a less worthwhile investment), with rapidly declining quality.
Now if only I could figure out which country would be equal to the Sony MDR7506 workhorse headphones. Inexpensive, good sound, no real style, and despite their potential fragility, can easily last over a decade of frequent use.
