It’s a nice thought, but I don’t think the American people have it in them to punish Donald and his family appropriately.

We didn’t even punish the Confederacy appropriately, and those bastards killed hundreds of thousands of people.

Only two states (Colorado and Maine) removed the insurrectionist from the 2024 ballot. SCOTUS put him back on. It’s either a bipartisan effort to prepare for AI taking entry level work, or complete fear of more J6’s. Given how many politicians they’ve murdered since (that nobody talks about), my money is literally on the bipartisan effort to build infrastructure to house the undesirables-of-the-month as we reach peak enshittification via AI.

If anyone has news on a serious push toward UBI that I’ve missed, feel free to correct me.

We’ve learned from that mistake, and won’t make it again. And if our Democratic leaders won’t follow through - AGAIN! - then they can join MAGA when whatever happens happens when the people are forced to take action themselves.

Those who don’t make peaceful revolution possible, make violent revolution inevitable.

Get on board, or get run over.

I don’t mean to sound rude but we’ve been hearing this since, like, forever.

There’s a long line of powerful people who aren’t held accountable.

I hope you do, but we aren’t holding our breathe.

I’ve been following politics as an Unafilliated Independent since the mid-60s, so I definitely understand your cynicism at the prospect of any change. I have held that same attitude for my entire life. However, like it or not, America IS at a crossroads right now, and as long as the citizens are mobilized, they can be steered anywhere. Despite their claims, MAGA does NOT have our future sewn up. Of course they say it, but we don’t have to choose to believe it. They have always been virtuosically incompetent, and wrong about literally EVERYTHING, so there is every reason to believe they can fuck this up, too, unless we simply hand it over to them.

Do we really want to lose to these dumb, fucking APES?

I haven’t seen Americans this mobilized toward their government since the Vietnam protests of the 60s/70s, and most are strongly against MAGA. We are about to have a Midterms that will be a MAGA bloodbath. Dozens of MAGA reps are already quitting because they see it coming, and they don’t want to be caught hanging on Trump’s coattails when the Congressional investigations begin. Plenty more are coming, and the Senate as well.

We have the chance to turn this train down a different track if we can elect new Democratic Warriors, and force the old weaklings to either get in the game or get out of the way, starting with Schmuck Schumer. This is likely our last chance to take America back, and we can’t squander it like the Biden administration did. Whatever power we get, we have to wield it like a club to every MAGA head.

So instead of posting negative responses to calls for action, we should be reminding everyone that we need to level up, and have the strongest 4th quarter of any game in history.
