    Honestly, I’d say don’t bother waiting for Windows 10 EOL and just go for a Linux install on your PC whenever you feel comfortable with it! You can always dual boot also for those weird cases that you absolutely need to do something in Windows

      I want to but my dad said “no more Linux projects” Idk I told him I wanted to do it with a different drive so I would still have a windows install but he wants me to wait ig

          It’s ok, you don’t have to do that for me lol. He did do a bit of Linux in the past, made a bunch of websites, coded and stuff like that. He just doesn’t want me to get distracted I guess. Plus I’ve got Linux on one laptop already so I can deal. (And i just figured out how to get Arch in Crostini for my formerly un-Linux-able Chromebook so I’m gonna spend some time setting that up) His heart is in the right place i think. I mean I won’t object to you finding sources if you really want to, it’s just also some family stuff happened recently today which makes it not a good time to talk to him about it, especially since i talked to him about it recently in regards to swapping out my chromebook for one of the old laptops from my grandma. I apologize if this is kinda incoherent, I have to go to sleep soon so I’m rushing to type this lol
