IF YOU ASSHOLES SPENT HALF THE ENERGY BACKING PROGRESSIVES IN THE PRIMARIES THAT YOU DID BOYCOTTING THE DNC IN NOVEMBER, WE WOULDNT HAVE EVER BEEN IN THIS MESS.
I mean not sure who’s talking about boycotting the DNC, I’m sure some idiots are going that route… but I do have to point out the obvious problem…
as you are right it’s about backing the progressive candidates. But the key point also is to realize how hopeless the DNC is…
IE if they lose… they say they must have gone too progressive and shift further to the right.
If they win… they say “whew… ok we did well, now we just need to shift further to the right to solidify everything”. They will always shit on the left, always try and push further right.
Now I can agree with you, backing progressives is the way to go… though I will point out, it’s about knowing the DNC is going to do whatever it can to oppose progressives getting into the democratic party.
