You’re going to see a timid pushback against the administration right now.

Why are they doing this? Are they finally standing up with consistent values on at least this one idea? Are they making a firm stand that the constitution is beyond partisan politics? I don’t know… it may be something else.

If they didn’t make a stand when he said “take the gun first, due process second” in his first administration, why would they do it now?

That’s why I said anything we hear from them is going to be really weak. Just mumbling efforts to pay lip service to people considering buying guns right now. They don’t care about firearms or the 2nd amendment or human life any more than the president himself, it’s JUST a corporate marketing agency.

(A marketing agency that is rapidly falling off a cliff, they have been liquidating their own stocks, they even sued one of their own subsidiaries, they are under investigation and have lost a million members, they even got rejected filing for bankruptcy. Real shame. Moment of silence. Okay moment is over, what’s for lunch?)

The NRA released a statement only hours after the shooting, in it they blame Governor Tim Walz for his “radical extremist protests”.
