Fire crews are working several fires in Lane and Linn County. The Salmon Fire was spotted Sunday just outside of Oakridge. The Priceboro Fire is eight miles northeast of Eugene outside of Harrisburg. And the Bedrock Fire continues to burn in the Fall Creek area.
The Salmon Fire started Sunday outside Oakridge. It’s not an Oregon summer in the 2020’s unless Oakridge is on fire . 😞
We all are going to have to live like this long term. In 50 years there won’t be any forests, they’ll be reduced to deserts or low scrub. Oregon is the new Arizona.
How does anyone still live there at this point? Last year’s fires were absolutely brutal on air quality there for like a month solid.
